The Baden Softlight Volleyball (Model VXT1) is an official size training volleyball designed for young players just learning the game. Weighing 7.5 oz, about 2 oz lighter than a standard volleyball, this lightweight ball makes it easier for beginners to get the ball over the net, helping keep rallies going and building confidence on the court. The FlexFoam cover reduces the sting typically felt when passing or hitting a regulation volleyball, so young athletes can focus on learning proper technique without discomfort. This design supports skill development and helps players build arm and hand strength gradually as they grow into the sport. Built for indoor volleyball play and training, the Softlight Volleyball is a useful tool for coaches, PE teachers, and parents introducing young athletes to volleyball fundamentals such as passing, setting, and serving. The ball ships deflated and does not include a pump. The perfect volleyball to practice proper technique without the frustration or discomfort of a standard volleyball.
