SPIRAL NOTE BASIC, 6.5mm rule A4 sized notebook (8.58 x 11.69 inches after detached) Maruman Spiral Notebook Basic – Durable Kraft Cover Notebook for Everyday Use The Maruman Spiral Notebook Basic series features a sturdy kraft cover with a natural texture that’s easy to use for anyone, regardless of the setting. After over 50 years of dedicated notebook craftsmanship, Maruman has infused this spiral notebook with all the know-how and quality it has cultivated. Below are its carefully crafted features and highlights: The smooth page-turning experience makes this notebook perfect for everyday use at your desk. The spiral binding allows the notebook to open completely flat at 180° without pages lifting up. By rotating the notebook 90°, the horizontal ruled lines can also accommodate vertical writing (for Japanese-style text). Other variations, such as 5mm grid and plain pages, are also available—each usable in both vertical and horizontal orientations. Folding the notebook in half (using one open page) also saves desk space, one of the key advantages of spiral-bound notebooks. The rigid front and back covers support writing even while standing when folded back 360°. It uses Maruman’s original 70g/m² writing paper, highly rated for its ease of writing. This paper is specifically designed for writing, with a smooth surface that prevents pen nibs from catching, while avoiding excessive slipperiness. It also resists ink bleed and ghosting, making it safe for use with mechanical pencils, gel pens, markers, and even fountain pens. Precision micro-perforations allow pages to be cleanly removed. Torn pages can be used for copying, scanning, filing, and more. The ends of the spiral binding are rounded to prevent snagging on clothing and to reduce the risk of injury—designed with safety in mind. The kraft paper cover is durable and firm, yet writable—perfect for labeling titles or notes. A numbering section is also included to help organize and distinguish between multiple notebooks. Experience the quality and attention to detail in Maruman’s Spiral Notebook Basic. Product Name: Maruman Ring Notebook, 6.5mm Ruled, Basic A5, 80 Sheets
